The Baylor Bears added their 13th commit to the 2026 cycle with four-star safety Jordan Deck, per On3.
Deck also received offers from several powerhouse programs, but ultimately chose the Bears over Penn State, Colorado, UCLA and Michigan.
Listed at 6-foot-3, Deck was ranked as the 25th-best player at his position, as well as the No. 308 prospect in his class. He plays for Lone Star High School in Frisco, Texas.

In his junior season, he tallied 42 tackles after totaling five interceptions as a sophomore. Currently sitting at the 38th-best prospect in the state of Texas, Deck enters his final season of high school football.
247Sports placed the Bears at No. 43 in the Class of 2026 rankings, following the additions made by head coach Dave Aranda.
Baylor finished the 2024 campaign with an impressive 8-5 record, earning its third bowl game appearance in the last four seasons. The team struggled in 2022 and 2023, falling below .500 both seasons and finishing with a combined record of 6-12 in Big 12 Conference play.
The Bears will look to build off their momentum in the 2025 season at 8 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 29, against the Auburn Tigers at home in Waco, Texas.
