Aidan Robbins was one of the biggest recruiting wins of the offseason when he committed to BYU last December. Robbins, who originally transferred from Louisville to UNLV, was coming off a 1,000-yard season at UNLV.

This season hasn't gone as planned for Robbins - he has been dealing with an injury that has held him out since week two. Robbins returned to the lineup against Texas Tech and he had a season high 49 yards on 16 carries. After the game, Robbins told the media that he loves playing at Lavell Edwards Stadium in front of "sober" BYU fans.

"It's crazy," Robbins said when asked what it's like to play in front of BYU fans. "It's truly crazy. I've played in some big stadiums, but I ain't ever played in a stadium like this with these type of fans. There's a difference between just having people that fill up seats, but having people fill up the seats and making noise. They're into the game. Everybody out their is sober too so I love it."

The announced attendance for the BYU-Texas Tech game was 63,523. That's just 202 fans short of a sellout. In BYU's first Big 12 home game against Cincinnati, Lavell Edwards was sold out. Playing in Provo is quickly becoming one of the most intimidating road venues in the Big 12.

Robbins was part of a BYU rushing attack that had its best game of the season. BYU finished with 150 rushing yards on 30 carries. BYU will look to continue its success on the ground next week at Texas.
