The Alabama Crimson Tide are expected to be a factor for one of the biggest names in the NCAA transfer portal.
According to On3's Pete Nakos and Steve Wiltfong, Alabama is expected to "make a big push" for NC State transfer wide receiver Kevin Concepcion.
"NC State wide receiver KC Concepcion officially entered the transfer portal on Monday," wrote Nakos. "Two early schools to watch are Alabama and Texas A&M, sources tell On3’s Steve Wiltfong and me. The Crimson Tide are expected to make a big push."

Concepcion, who is from Charlotte, NC, spent the first two seasons of his collegiate career at NC State.
The Wolfpack had a tough year in 2024, which resulted in Concepcion catching just 53 passes for 460 yards and six touchdowns in 12 games.
As a true freshman in 2023, however, Concepcion caught 71 passes for 839 yards and 10 touchdowns. He's a stud receiver and he could excel in DeBoer's offense in Tuscaloosa.
A wide receiver trio of Concepcion, Ryan Williams, and Germie Bernard would be nightmare fuel for SEC defensive coordinators and defensive backs.
Concepcion might not be the top option of the depth chart if he lands at Alabama, but he would be hard pressed to find a better situation. If Williams receives extra attention from opposing defenses, Concepcion would be in prime position to benefit.
We'll see how the recruiting process goes -- NIL and visits will be a huge factor -- but it feels like the Crimson Tide should be considered an early favorite to land Concepcion.
