Alabama Crimson Tide superstar wide receiver Ryan Williams is one of the cover athletes for new version of EA Sports College Football 2026.
Unsurprisingly, Williams is a big fan of playing the game.
But you won't catch him playing with Alabama....at least not in dynasty mode.
It's nothing against Alabama -- Williams, after all, is Bama through and through. Instead, it's because playing with Alabama is "too easy".
"Don't, nobody, but I have a UCLA dynasty," said Williams to ESPN's Rece Davis on the College Football podcast. "And we're, like, seven time back-to-back champions. I'm like Nick Saban, I'm gonna be honest. We haven't lost a game in I can't tell you how long. I'll put it on Heisman (difficulty), but my players are all good now because they've been with me so long. It's just too easy when I'm playing with Alabama. So I had to go, you know, not too low (quality of team), but I had to go somewhere in between."
It's not a surprise that Williams is always looking for a challenge. He's one of the most competitive players in the SEC, which is evident by the way he plays on Saturdays in the fall (and apparently on the sticks, too).
