Strengths

• Pop in Hands: First thing you notice is heavy hands that shock the pads of opposing lineman
• Long Arm: Excellent use of the technique to force pocket push or create steer for his run-pass read
• Burst: Rockets off the ball and can close the gap on weakside runs with 4.4 speed

Areas of Improvement-Concerns

• Pass Rush Moves: Opts almost purely for the long arm or speed to power
• Hand Usage: Want to see his hands become a factor beyond his initial punch
• Bend: Struggles to flatten his rush path at times, playing a little too upright to get around the corner

Evaluation:

An elite athlete with all you could want for traits, it’s no secret why Turner has the chance to be the first defender, much less pass rusher off the board. With a long arm technique, forceful hands and tremendous burst, Turner will be a handful for tackles and guards from day one. But if he rounds out his arsenal of pass rush moves, then lookout, as the sky is the ceiling on what he can be.
