Alabama football recently extended an offer to Quentin Burrell after hosting him for a visit.

Burrell is a product of Mount Carmel High School in Chicago, Illinois. Most recruiting sites have him listed as a four-star recruit with the potential to earn a fifth star in the future. His offers list includes offers from some of the best teams in college football including Alabama, Notre Dame and Ohio State.

Burrell’s Alabama offer serves as a reminder to him he is benefitting from his hard work and the circle of good people around of him.

“It means that my hard work is paying off and that I have really good people that I trust helping me along the way,” Burrell said.

The Crimson Tide has developed the wide receiver position at a high level in recent years. Kalen DeBoer and the Tide’s wide receiver coach JaMarcus Shephard also have a great track record of developing the position. This development is among the things Burrell feels stands out about the Tide.

“Alabama is an elite football program,” Burrell told Touchdown Alabama. “It has a lot of tradition, a great new coaching staff and really good receivers have come from there. They develop their players to be professionals on and off the field, and they challenge you to be your best.”

At 6-foot-3 and 195 pounds, Burrell is a talented wide receiver who can create separation with his deceptive route-running ability. His route-running ability and his impressive ball skills make him an elite prospect.

“My biggest strength has been my ability to create space,” said Burrell. “I’m a bigger receiver so my size is a strength and creates mismatches. I have good hands and I am coachable.”
