Kalen DeBoer and the Alabama Crimson Tide are already making moves in the 2027 recruiting class, targeting top recruits in every position.
They already received commitments from two four-star players in edge rusher JaBarrius Garror and athlete Alexander Ward.
Most recently, Alabama offered a scholarship to the No. 1 receiver in the class, Monshun Sales.
Sales has been a fan of Alabama since he was young, and responds to the offer saying "growing up it was my dream school."
Obviously early on, and a lot has changed in Alabama football over the past few years, but an early head start on one of the elite receivers in the class is a terrific start.
"I mean I'm from Alabama too so all of my family is down there...You already know Bama is big, big, big time," said Sales to On3.
Two main connections, being a dream school and family ties to Alabama will make them a front runner to land the No. 1 receiver for the time being. Still with a couple years until his decision needs to be official, anything can happen.
For Alabama, no more Nick Saban may be a tough piece to replace, but DeBoer has done a stellar job since attempting to fill Saban's shoes.
Finishing with a 9-4 record in DeBoer's first year is definitely below Alabama's standards, as they want to be competing for a national championship every year. However, a lot of questions were answered and still can be seen as a successful year one under new leadership.
He heads into year two with his offensive coordinator from Washington in Ryan Grubb to add familiarity, and an incredible 2025 recruiting class, ranking No. 3 in the nation, leaving off right where Saban did.
Any team that star receiver Ryan Williams is on also makes for limitless potential. The only question for Alabama remains: Who will be the starting quarterback week one of the 2025 season? Keelon Russell, Ty Simpson, or Austin Mack?
