Alabama football is one of the biggest brands in all of American sports. With such a high profile, Crimson Tide players have been able to sign many lucrative NIL deals while playing with the team. Just last year, Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe was within the top five highest NIL earners, according to On3.
The Crimson Tide's newest superstar, wide receiver Ryan Williams, is only seeing his stardom increase as he signed a brand new NIL deal with nail polish brand Sally Hansen. The new deal also came on Williams' 18th birthday, which was Sunday.
“Now I’m all ready to enjoy my birthday and the big game,” he said on Instagram while showing off his freshly painted black nails.
According to On3, Williams' NIL valuation is ranked as the 19th highest value in the country, coming in at $2.3 million.
While many criticize Williams for painting his nails, the former five-star has been doing this since high school, when he started this tradition with his little sister.
Williams isn't the only athlete to sign with Sally Hansen, as former Duke Blue Devil Jared McCain also has a deal with the company.
Williams is coming off a freshman season in which he took the college football world by storm as the most famous 17-year-old. In 13 games, Williams compiled a freshman stat line of 48 receptions for 865 receiving yards and eight receiving touchdowns.
His stats are bound to go up with Kalen DeBoer bringing back his long-time offensive coordinator, Ryan Grubb, and shifting to a more passing-focused quarterback.
