Williams, a 6-foot, 200-pound safety, appeared in 10 games as a true freshman for the Cougars, playing a total of 99 snaps during the 2024-25 season. Originally a highly regarded prospect out of Texas as a former four-star recruit, he will bring some Power Five-level experience and physicality to the Sun Devils’ defense.
The addition of Williams bolsters a Sun Devil roster that has already made some big moves this spring, adding multiple different transfers and high school recruits that will help add depth and versatility.
