Jake Fette, a four-star quarterback from El Paso, Texas, is one of the better quarterback recruits in the 2026 class.
According to the 247Sports Composite rankings, he's the No. 13 quarterback in the nation. He's also one of the top recruits from the state of Texas, which produces some of the best college football players in the country every year.
Yes, Fette is a big-timer, and that's great news for Arizona State and head coach Kenny Dillingham because the four-star just committed to the Sun Devils.

Fette has been a major target for coach Dillingham, so much so that the ASU coach was in person on Sept. 13 to watch Fette play high school ball.
Speaking of, as a sophomore, Fette threw for 2,465 yards and 27 touchdowns (five interceptions) for Del Valle High School. According to 247Sports, he's already thrown for five touchdowns with no interceptions through three games of his junior campaign.
Fette goes down as ASU's first 2026 commitment. He also boasts offers from Big 12 programs such as Baylor, Houston, Kansas, TCU and Texas Tech.
