Dave Aranda and the Baylor Bears have had a great offseason through the transfer portal over the last few months, and their hot streak continued with the addition of a new wideout.
Louis Brown IV, a 6-foot-2 wide receiver from Los Angeles, California, is heading to Waco after an impressive season at San Diego State.
Brown started his career at Colorado State, where he recorded 59 grabs for 579 yards and five scores in two seasons before transferring to SDSU. With the Aztecs, the California native had a breakout junior year that featured 38 catches for 620 yards and three touchdowns.
Coming out of Inglewood High School in the Class of 2022, Brown was listed as a three-star prospect by the 247Sports index and the nation’s 1882nd-ranked player. He also checked in as the 203rd-ranked player at his position and the 151st-ranked player in the state of California.
With his commitment, Brown IV became the 18th player to join the Bears this offseason, a group already seeing some impressive additions. On3 currently has Dave Aranda’s group listed at No. 17 in the country in terms of transfer portal rankings, as well as the second-best team in the Big 12 Conference.
