The first few weeks of the 2025 college football season was a rollercoaster for No. 22 Notre Dame.
The Fighting Irish suffered a three-point loss to Miami in the final minute to open the season and followed that up with a one-point loss to Texas A&M. Notre Dame was finally able to notch their first win of the season against Purdue last weekend.
Marcus Freeman's squad hopes to keep the momentum rolling against an SEC opponent in Week 5. Notre Dame will travel to Arkansas on Saturday to face the Razorbacks at 12:00 p.m. ET on ABC.
According to Fanduel Sportsbook on Wednesday, Notre Dame is the 4.5-point favorite over Arkansas. The over/under is set at 64.5.
The Fighting Irish are led by quarterback CJ Carr. The redshirt freshman won the starting job over sophomore Kenny Minchey this offseason and has totaled 737 passing yards, five touchdowns and two interceptions through three games.
Arkansas has suffered two early-season losses as well. The Razorbacks lost back-to-back games to Ole Miss and Memphis over the last two weeks. However, Arkansas boasts a dangerous offense that could give Notre Dame Issues.
Dual-threat quarterback Taylen Green has passed for 1,191 yards and 12 touchdowns for Arkansas so far this season. He's added on 360 yards and two touchdowns on the ground. The Razorbacks also deploy a big-play threat at tight end in Rohan Jones. Although he's had limited touches, Jones has hauled in five receptions for 197 yards and two touchdowns this season. That's a whopping 39.4 average yards per reception.
Other significant betting favorites on Saturday include No. 13 Ole Miss (-1.5) over No. 4 LSU and No. 5 Georgia (-2.5) over No. 17 Alabama.
