Wilson Zierer is a big offensive tackle recruit from Rabun Gap, Georgia (Rabun Gap-Nacoochee High School). He's an SEC recruit through and through, and checks in at 6-foot-6, 280 pounds as a player who still has yet to play his senior season in high school.
That's big time size, and the rankings suggest Zierer may be pretty good at the college level, too. According to 247Sports, he's ranked as the No. 26 offensive tackle in the 2026 class.
Zierer boasts nearly 30 offers to his name from all over the country, but he ultimately broke down his interest list into a final three of Auburn, Alabama and Florida State.
“All three schools showed me how they could be the perfect fit (for me),” Zierer told Jeffrey Lee of Rivals. “It just came down to me loving Auburn the most.”
Zierer committed to Auburn on Thursday, becoming Hugh Freeze's 10th 2026 commitment.

There was a family tie at Auburn, which certainly helped the Tigers. Zierer's older brother, Killian, was an offensive tackle for the Tigers for two seasons from 2020 to 2022. He's now with the Atlanta Falcons.
That meant the younger Zierer was extremely familiar with life on the Plains. Not even considering his brother playing there, though, the big offensive tackle has also visited Auburn four times this calendar year. That included an official visit in late May.
Other schools to get an official from Zierer were Florida State, Georgia, Wisconsin, Michigan and Alabama.
There's the family connection, but Zierer also has connected with offensive line coach Jake Thornton, and that also helped out the Tigers on the recruiting trail.
“My brother played there, and that is a little factor for me with Auburn. But this is definitely more my decision," he explained. "With Auburn, I love how coach (Jake) Thornton is as a person and how we can talk about anything. The kid in me likes Auburn, because I hoped to play there.”
Zierer is technically still a kid, but he's a really big and talented one. And now he's a Tiger.
