After claiming the No. 6 ranked class in 2025, the Michigan Wolverines seem to be taking it a bit more slowly in 2026. Last year's cycle was highlighted by the arrival of the country's No. 1 player, quarterback Bryce Underwood.
Bringing in talented pass-catchers to complement Underwood certainly has to be a top priority, and the Wolverines added a four-star receiver to do just that.
Zion Robinson, a 6-foot-3, 180-pound wideout from Mansfield, Texas, committed to Michigan on Wednesday, choosing the Wolverines over 20 other offers.
“I committed to Michigan over Stanford and Miami,” Robinson said. “They offered me back in 8th grade, then they really made their move in March. “I picked Michigan because of the academics, football, the people and the connections there.”

According to MaxPreps, last season, Robinson caught 34 passes for 485 yards with eight touchdowns.
“Coach Bellamy consistently shows me that he cares about me and his players,” Robinson added. “Sherrone Moore is a great man too. He is soft spoken, but very ambitious.”
Gabe Brooks of 247Sports described Robinson as a "tall outside target pushing 6-foot-3 with excellent multi-sport athletic context in basketball and track and field."
The report continues to explain that while lacking polish on the football field, Robinson also excels above the rim and won a state championship in the high jump.
Robinson's father, Khadevis Robinson, was a two-time Olympic qualifier in the 800 meters and the current director of TCU's track and field program..
Michigan added five wide receivers in the 2025 cycle between recruiting and the transfer portal. Robinson joins Jaylen Pile, a three-star commit who is also from Texas.
