Blake Miller is one of the most experienced and durable offensive tackles in college football. This article will highlight Blake Miller and his 2026 NFL Draft Profile.

2026 NFL Draft Profile Of Clemson OT Blake Miller

Measurables

  • Height: 6’ 6”
  • Weight: 314 lbs
  • Arm Length: 35’
  • Hand Size: 10”

Player Background

As a four-star recruit out of Strongsville High School, Blake Miller was the ninth-best player in the state of Ohio and 16th-ranked offensive tackle in the country. He committed to the University of Clemson during the 2022 recruiting cycle, despite receiving offers from Florida, Michigan, and his in-state team, the Ohio State Buckeyes. Miller earned the starting right tackle position out of summer camp and started all 12 games as a true freshman for the Tigers.

Miller was incredibly consistent in all four of his collegiate seasons. He logged more than 800 snaps in every campaign and never posted an offensive grade lower than 72.0, according to Pro Football Focus. Clemson won 37 games and two conference titles in his four years with the program, but failed to advance past the first round of the College Football Playoff.

Accolades

  • First-team All-ACC (2025, 2024)
  • Third-team All-ACC (2023)
  • First-team Freshman All-American (2022)
  • ACC Offensive Rookie of the Year (2022)

Best Tools

Blake Miller is one of the quickest and most agile offensive tackles in the 2026 NFL Draft. He has the ability to mirror any speed rusher laterally and quickly locate defenders aligned in a wide-nine set. Miller pairs his lateral quickness with exceptional arm length to re-direct pass rushers out and around the pocket. He will never be limited in terms of athleticism at the next level.

Miller turns his explosiveness into violence in the run game and acts like he never hears a whistle. When he gets a full head of steam as an on-the-move blocker, he can quickly knock down defenders and take them out of the play. At the line of scrimmage, Miller has the ability to drive engaged defenders off the line of scrimmage. He consistently generates more than two yards of push up the field and creates good space for his running back.

Tools to Improve

Hand placement in both pass protection and as a run blocker is a major problem for Blake Miller. His hands are almost always too high or too wide which leads to easy sheds by more nuanced pass rushers. Against Georgia, Miller struggled against both Mykel Williams and Jalon Walker, who exposed this poor hand placement.

The majority of Miller’s struggles come against power rushers. There are many instances on film where, rather than being aggressive and extending his arms, he waits too long and lets defenders get into his chest. Miller doesn’t have the mass to recover from this and will get knocked off-balance, leading to a lost rep in pass protection.

NFL Projection

Blake Miller has the length and experience to be an NFL right tackle, but he will need to be better against power rushers. In the ACC his arm length saved him a ton, but he cannot rely on that if he wants to succeed at the next level. If Miller can get better placement with his hands and add a bit more mass to improve his balance, he could be one of the first five offensive tackles drafted in 2026.
