CHESTNUT HILL, Mass - Donovan Ezeiruaku is ready for the 2025 NFL Draft.

The Boston College edge has a high probability of being selected in the first round and took a moment to speak with reporters during the Eagles' Pro Day on Monday.

"It's gonna be a very exciting moment on April 24th or whatever day it is. I really can't wait," Ezeiruaku said. "I feel good (about going in the first round). At the same time, anywhere is a blessing. 24th or 25th whatever the case may be, as long as my foot is in the door."

Ezeiruaku chose not to participate in Boston College's Pro Day, but was in attendance to cheer on his teammates. He even took a moment to speak with local media.

But, for a competitive guy, it was tough not being out there with the others.

"It's hard. I was telling someone, I'm getting a little itchy. But, it's probably the best decision for me not to do too much today. I had a really good showing at the Combine and the Senior Bowl, and then obviously the tape speaks for itself."

So, he's clearly ready to get on the field for any NFL team and show them what he can do.

And Boston College head coach Bill O'Brien made a strong pitch for any NFL team to draft Ezeiruaku.

"Donovan first of all is just a very bright guy, great teammate, unanimous captain. The whole team voted for him to be the captain of the team," O'Brien said. "He's got an excellent takeoff at the end of the line of scrimmage. He really did a great job of developing his pass rush skills this past year.

"Actually, Coach Marrone, the O-Line coach of the Patriots now, he worked a lot with Donovan this past year on a week-to-week basis for pass rush planning in games. And Donovan really did a great job of putting that plan into action, and he just did an unbelievable job. He never quit, never gave up. He actually probably, I would say, he actually won us a couple of games singlehandedly by sacking the quarterback or creating turnovers and things," he added. "So, can't say enough good things about Donovan.
