Will Campbell and Bradyn Swinson went from sharing the field at LSU to now being teammates in the National Football League.

The New England Patriots selected Campbell with the fourth overall pick, and then drafted Swinson in the fifth round. And shortly after he was drafted the edge defender took a moment to speak with reporters, specifically detailing what fans can expect from the young offensive tackle.

"You all are going to expect the guy that isn’t going to let his quarterback get touched for sure," Swinson explained. "You all got a guy. That's a blue-collar guy. Head down, working. Everything Will does is about work. Hard work. That's a guy that's going to do everything right.

"I know you all can tell by his voice, he's going to be a 10-year vet. By his voice, he’s got one of those 15-year player voices already," he continued. "He's just one of those guys that you got that's just going to keep his head down and work and just handle his business."

And throughout the press conference, Swinson was waiting for the moment that he could get off and call his teammate.

"I haven't even got a chance to really talk to Will, yet. I'm waiting to call him," Swinson revealed. "I had to jump up, and this is the first thing I did. I jumped on here with you guys, just to meet you guys. I haven't even really looked at my phone or anything, just been embracing time with my family."

But, he can't wait to share the field with him again.

"Just to be on the same team with Will again, is just—he’s an amazing player. It’s right back to battling how we used to do in the old days," he said. "We were at the same school for two years. It's exciting to get back to work with him."
