Standout Clemson defensive tackle Peter Woods announced on Tuesday that he will enter the 2026 NFL Draft.

The 6-foot-3, 310-pound junior is ranked No. 1 at his position and No. 13 overall by ESPN analyst Mel Kiper Jr.

Woods earned first-team All-ACC honors this season with 30 tackles and two sacks in 12 games. He also scored two rushing touchdowns for the Tigers (7-5).

"It has been an honor to wear the paw these last few years, and it will always be a part of me, but the time has finally come," Woods posted on X.

Woods was a four-star recruit in the Class of 2023 after winning four straight state championships at Thompson High School in Alabaster, Ala. He earned FWAA freshman All-American honors in 2023 and set career high in sacks (three) and tackles for loss (8.5) in 2024.
