This was supposed to be when the Cowboys were going to kick it all up a notch in the Big 12 Championship chase, but injuries and inconsistencies made this one of the nation’s most disappointing teams. OSU is on a brutal eight-game losing streak, but play the spoiler role here and the season will end with something amazing.i

Why Colorado Will Win

The Oklahoma State defense is awful.

There’s no pass rush, third down stops are a rumor, and worst of all the Cowboys have the nation’s second-worst pass defense - it allowed almost 1,000 yards over the last three games - and Colorado just so happens to be decent at throwing the football.

Shedeur Sanders completed almost 80% of his passes against Kansas - and made it three games in a row with three touchdown passes - but there wasn’t enough happening down the field. That’s going to change in this.

Oklahoma State will make this interesting.

There’s still talent here, there’s still firepower, and everyone is still pressing, but the defense just can’t stop anyone.

Colorado might not have the right path to get to the Big 12 Championship or the CFP, but it’ll do its part, get the home win with a big point run in the fourth quarter - three takeaways will be a big deal - and then it’ll hope everything falls into place.
