Deion Sanders has never been known for being subtle, and the exodus of players from Colorado via the transfer portal this spring has been anything but.
If you're to believe "Coach Prime," though, who appears to be a man of his word, it's all intentional.
"[There's] no way that I can put new furniture in this beautiful home if we don’t clean out the old furniture," Sanders recently said regarding the 46 players who have entered the transfer portal since he got the gig in Boulder.
Not everybody is looking to leave Colorado, though. In fact, Sanders and the Buffaloes just brought in a big-time transfer. Brendan Gant, former Florida State linebacker, has announced his intention to move out west for his senior season.

Gant is bringing a ton of experience with him to Boulder.
He's a 6-foot-2, 200-pound linebacker who has played in 43 games for the Seminoles since 2019. As a redshirt junior last season for FSU, he played in 12 games, recording 33 tackles, one sack, two quarterback hurries, one fumble recovery and one pass breakup. He was also the FSU Special Teams Scout Player of the Year.
While he may not be a superstar, he's a player with a lot of game experience, and all indications are that he'll be a great locker-room addition for Sanders and Colorado.
He may not be the player who leads the Buffalos to an immediate turnaround, but every positive addition is a step in the right direction
