Deion Sanders' Colorado Buffaloes were on a bye during Week 8 of the college football season, but went into their week off on a high note.

The Buffs upset the No. 22 Iowa State Cyclones 24-17 in Week 7 thanks to a career-day from wide receiver Joseph Williams, who finished the day with eight catches for 128 yards and a touchdown. The win moved them to 3-4 on the season, and also ended a seven-game losing streak against ranked opponents.

As Colorado looks to build off of the momentum and prepare for a talented Utah Utes (5-2) team, it appears not everything has gone as planned for Sanders and company in Boulder. In a Well Off Media video shared to X, the third-year head coach can be seen shouting at his players at a practice, and appearing to indicate that certain players have quit on the team.

"Let's work today," Sanders said. "Some people out here just out here. They already quit. They'll shut it down because they know they have no future in this."

Colorado has yet to report any departures from the rosters, indicating that certain players have thrown in the towel on the season.

While the Buffs may be out of the Big 12 race they are just three wins away from making it to a bowl game for back-to-back seasons for the first time since the 2004-05 seasons.

Standing in Colorado's way of its fourth win on the year is the Utah Utes (5-2). The Buffs will head to Salt Lake City on Saturday in a game that will kick at 10:15 p.m. Et and air on ESPN.
