Deion Sanders Flaunts Colorado's Historic Cumulative GPA

Earlier this week the cumulative GPA for the Colorado football team hit social media and immediately went viral.

So, too, did Deion's comment about his son Shedeur's education at Colorado. The Buffaloes head coach revealed the team's star quarterback never went to class during his time with the school - instead focusing on online classes.

"Ain't none of them on campus because things have changed," Sanders said in an appearance on the "Million Dollaz Worth of Game" podcast. "Everybody is taking classes online and they graduate. Shedeur has never taken a class on campus in his whole college career. Shilo [Sanders] may have at South Carolina but I don't remember Travis [Hunter] ever being on campus as well. So they missed a whole part of the collegiate experience. But to each his own."

Both Shedeur and Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter showed they were more than just star athletes by boasting near 4.0 GPAs during their time at Colorado. While the rest of the program didn't excel that much, it still sported a very respectable number.

According to Colorado assistant coach James Chaney, the team reached a cumulative GPA over 3.0 for the first time in program history. Not one to take accomplishments lightly, Deion flaunted the historic numbers on his social media by reposting two separate tweets showing off the record mark.

The team GPA will take a hit with Shedeur and Travis leaving, but former five-star quarterback Julian Lewis sported a near 4.0 of his own, so the Buffaloes might be just fine in that department.
