Just when you thought all the controversy involving Diego Pavia was over, a new story gets published by TMZ.

Pavia had a special 2025 season with the Commodores, completing 70.6% of his passes for 3,539 yards with 29 touchdowns and eight interceptions. He also had 862 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns on 167 carries. Although he fell short of winning the Heisman Trophy, he was named the SEC Offensive Player of the Year.

Despite lighting up SEC defenses this past fall, Pavia went undrafted last week. He's the first Heisman Trophy finalist to go undrafted since Jordan Lynch in 2014.

NFL teams haven't provided an explanation for Pavia falling down the draft board, but TMZ dropped a new story that has sparked plenty of speculation about the former Vanderbilt quarterback.

According to TMZ Sports, the former Vanderbilt quarterback took a trip to Knockouts Gentlemen's Club in Albuquerque on March 8.

"Our source says ALL of the money scattered on the stage in the clips came from Pavia ... and he remained there until 5 AM," the report from TMZ stated. "It's unclear when he showed up at the strip joint ... but he was there for at least three hours, according to our witness. It seemed like a break in his draft preparations."

Football fans are convinced Pavia's pre-draft antics are why he didn't hear his name called last weekend in Pittsburgh.

Pavia is still getting a chance to prove himself.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Baltimore Ravens are signing Pavia to a three-year deal as an undrafted free agent.

It was reported on Sunday that Pavia would attend Baltimore's rookie minicamp on a tryout basis, but the front office clearly felt comfortable signing him. The Ravens also agreed to terms on a UDFA deal with former UConn quarterback Joe Fagnano.

The Ravens will most likely let Fagnano and Pavia battle it out this summer for a spot on the depth chart.
