In the 2024-25 season, Georgia Bulldogs football players Chaz Chambliss and Dylan Fairchild proved they are ready for the NFL.
Chambliss, a senior linebacker, had a strong season with 6.5 sacks and showed outstanding leadership on defense. Fairchild, an offensive lineman, was very reliable—he only gave up one sack in 536 pass plays and played over 800 snaps at guard. He was known for being quick and strong. Because of their great performances, the Atlanta Falcons invited both players for visits before the NFL Draft in April 2025.

If the Falcons pick Chambliss in the 2025 NFL Draft, he could bring energy and skill to their defense. The linebacker finished his college career with 87 tackles, 17 tackles for loss, and 9 sacks in 54 games. He’s good at stopping the run and rushing the quarterback—two things the Falcons need more of.
In big games, Chambliss showed he can handle pressure, and his strong 2024 season shows he’s ready to compete right away. He could start as a backup but has the tools to earn a starting spot. Some fans have questions about his size, but if he proves he can play strong at the next level, he could be a solid pick.

The Falcons need more help on the offensive line, and Dylan Fairchild could be a great pick later in the draft. He might not start right away, but he could compete for a spot or give the team solid backup help. His experience against tough SEC players shows he can hold up well, but he’ll need to adjust to faster and stronger pass rushers in the NFL. His background in wrestling also helps him stay balanced and strong against defenders.
While this is not guaranteed, both Chambliss and Fairchild have the tools to make an impact in Atlanta if given the chance. Their college experience and work ethic could help them earn a role and grow into valuable pieces for the Falcons' future.
