After Alabama’s victory over South Carolina, the Crimson Tide remains in a prime position for a BYE in the first round of the College Football Playoff.
The Allstate Playoff Predictor gives Alabama football a 93% chance to make the College Football Playoff.
Alabama is one of the four teams that has a 90% or higher chance of making the playoff. Those other three teams are Indiana at 97%, Texas A&M at 96% and Ohio State at 96%.
Alabama and Texas A&M could end up facing each other in the SEC Championship if they continue to win their conference games.
The Crimson Tide head into a much-needed BYE week and hope to get players rested up and healthy for the next part of the challenging stretch of regular season games. A depleted LSU team is next up for Alabama, followed by ranked Oklahoma, a favorable matchup against Eastern Illinois and Kalen DeBoer’s first trip to Jordan-Hare Stadium as the head coach of Alabama. That will be his first Iron Bowl in that stadium since taking the job in 2024.
