USA TODAY Sports

The Ole Miss Rebels have picked up another transfer portal commit, as former Tennessee Volunteers defensive back Brandon Turnage announced his commitment to Lane Kiffin's program via social media on Friday.

The Oxford, Miss., native visited Ole Miss last weekend after spending the last three seasons with the Volunteers. Turnage's announcement can be found here.

Turnage suited up in his prep days for Lafayette (Oxford, Miss.) High School, and he originally signed with the Alabama Crimson Tide before transferring to Tennessee ahead of the 2021 season. In his time with Tennessee, he totaled 48 tackles, one interception, and five pass breakups. During his one season in T-Town, Turnage only registered one pass breakup in one game.

Turnage was a four-star recruit in Alabama's 2019 signing class, and was rated as the No. 12 safety and the No. 8 overall recruit coming out of the Mississippi in the 2019 cycle.

The Rebels are not be done adding to their secondary, as former Alabama cornerback Trey Amos is set to be on campus this weekend. On3 recently predicted that Amos is expected to commit to Ole Miss out of the portal.
