Florida State vs. Louisville: Kickoff Time, TV Channel, and Odds
USA TODAY Sports

It's here. A landmark moment that every Florida State Seminole fan has waited for that has been nearly a decade in the making will come to fruition when No. 4 Florida State (12-0, 8-0 ACC) and No. 14 Louisville (10-2, 7-1 ACC) face off in the 2023 ACC Championship Game.

The Seminoles closed out their regular season 12-0 for the fourth time in school history, and all eyes will be on the 'Noles as a win on Saturday will put them well on their way to their first College Football Playoff appearance since 2014.

FSU quarterback Tate Rodemaker was thrust into the spotlight two weeks ago when ACC Player of the Year Jordan Travis suffered a season-ending injury in their win over North Alabama. Rodemaker appeared in his second career start in last week's win over rival UF and willed the 'Noles past the Cardinals the last time the two teams met.

The Seminoles tout one of the nation's best pass defenses, holding opponent completion percentage to 47.6% while ranking 2nd in the country in passes defended (76) and 4th nationally in fewest touchdowns allowed.

Lousiville head coach Jeff Brohm has his Cardinals rolling under his first season at the helm, and it will be the first time Louisville has appeared in an ACC Title Game. Led by senior quarterback Jack Plummer, the Cardinals are averaging 33 points per game while holding opponents to an average of 20 in 2023.

UL ranks in the top 26 nationally in both total offense and total defense (19th, 314.7 yards per game) and 26th, (438.6 yards per game) making them one of only four teams in all of FBS.

FSU ranks in the top 26 in both red zone offense (26th, 89.8 percent) and red zone defense (23rd, 77.1 percent) one of only six teams in the country.
