With the 2024 college football regular season over for most teams, it’s that time of year when players start making big decisions about their futures.
Some choose to stay with their current teams, others declare for the NFL draft and many enter the transfer portal looking for new opportunities.
On Wednesday, Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports and 247 Sports reported that Oklahoma Sooners quarterback Jackson Arnold is expected to enter the NCAA transfer portal.
"Oklahoma QB Jackson Arnold is expected to enter the transfer portal, a source tells @CBSSports/@247Sports," Zenitz wrote.

"His plan is to move on," Zenitz added.
Arnold is a former five-star recruit and was ranked as the No. 10 overall player in the class of 2023.
The sophomore opened up the 2024 college football season as the Sooners' starting quarterback. However, despite starting 3-0, he was benched in favor of freshman quarterback Michael Hawkins Jr. after struggling against Tennessee in Week 4.
Hawkins Jr. started the next two games, and then head coach Brent Venables turned back to Arnold. The Sooners finished the year 6-6, and Arnold would go on to total 1,421 passing yards, 12 touchdowns and three interceptions.
The Denton, Texas native will have two more seasons of eligibility.
Some landing spots Arnold could consider are USC, Ole Miss and Arkansas. He's expected to be one of the top quarterbacks in the portal.
