The ability to transfer without restrictions has made a few players famous for the wrong reason. Wide receiver Agiye Hall is one of these. The former four-star high school recruit announced last night that he had committed to his fourth school.
Hall started his collegiate career at Alabama as a Class of 2021 recruit. He only spent one season with the Tide, where he totaled four receptions for 72 yards. He then transferred to Texas, where he only caught one pass for seven yards in 2022. However, he was not part of the team in 2023 and eventually re-entered the portal and committed to UCF. While he committed to the Knights, he never actually enrolled at the school.
Now, Hall is heading to the West Coast to play for an FCS program that has taken a very aggressive approach to portal recruiting:

Some may not have noticed, but Sacramento State has become a hot name in the transfer world after their recent hiring of head coach Brennan Marion. The former UNLV offensive coordinator has quickly gained positive momentum with numerous recent FBS transfer additions.
Adding a player of Hall’s potential is a no-lose situation for Coach Marion and Sacramento State. If Hall finally hits his stride, he will be a terror in the Big Sky Conference, and if he fails to produce he will likely end up back in the portal this December. Either way, it is worth a try by the Hornets.
Now its up to Hall to try and finally make an impact at the D1 level.
