He even went as far as to say he was only at 60 percent for the year when it came to his health.
"I was injured the whole year, never healthy," Williams said. "I was messed up pretty bad. It was extremely frustrating [with people] not knowing the full story.
"I decided to take the first two to three weeks [after the season] to rest my ankle and try to get it back under me. So that delayed my training, I got a late jump, and that's why I'm going pro day instead of combine."
Despite playing through the pain, Williams still managed to rack up 21 tackles, including 10.5 tackles for loss, five sacks, 21 pressures, and two forced fumbles in 12 games during his final year with the Bulldogs.
Williams did reveal that this is the healthiest he has felt, but the extra time staying off of his ankle will benefit him in the long run. He also mentioned that NFL teams have been big fans of knowing just how gritty of a player he is.
"I have a different type of grit about myself that I can push through pain. No matter how I'm feeling, I can still get it done," he said. "The teams are loving that I did. They said most guys, in the position I was in, would have sat down."
As Willams noted, he will work out at Georgia's Pro Day which is rumored to be scheduled for Wednesday, March 13.
