Last year, the Oregon Ducks draft class broke a school record for the most Ducks drafted in a single year with eight. This year, there's a really good chance that the Ducks set a new high water mark. It's a testament to what Dan Lanning is building in Eugene.
One of those draft prospects that's a lock to get selected, potentially as high as the second round, is tight end Terrance Ferguson. The explosive tight end is apparently making the rounds with some teams that could see him factor in as an instant impact player for young quarterbacks.
Tight end Terrance Ferguson is visiting the #Browns today, per source. Was with the #Panthers on Wednesday.

Former Oregon standout had the fastest 40 (4.63 seconds) and the highest vertical jump (39”) among tight ends at the combine.
With two weeks to go until the 2025 NFL Draft, Ferguson had pre-draft visits with the Cleveland Browns and the Carolina Panthers. Cleveland is expected to draft their quarterback of the future, and Carolina should be doing everything that they can to get weapons in the offense for Bryce Young.
As Jeremy Fowler of ESPN pointed out, Ferguson ran the fasted 40-time and had the highest vertical jump in the tight end class. Ferguson's explosiveness translated to the field by leading all tight ends in college football at 9.0 yards after the catch per reception.
Ferguson leaves holding the tight end record for most career receptions (134), most receiving touchdowns (16), and is tied for second-most receiving yards (1,537). He goes down as one of, if not the, greatest tight ends in program history.
Teams looking to get a quarterback-friendly weapon with a proven ability to generate yards for himself after the catch would be wise to take a long look at the Oregon tight end. No matter where he lands, Ferguson will look to make an instant impact.
