Kris Hutson has found a new home.
The former Oregon Ducks wide receiver announced his commitment to the Washington State Cougars on Friday afternoon.
"I'm on go time," Hutson wrote in his commitment post.
The junior wide receiver heads to Pullman with one season of eligibility of remaining after entering the transfer portal on December 4.
During his four seasons with the Ducks Hutson played in 39 games and caught 80 passes for 936 yards and 2 touchdowns. The former St. John Bosco standout had his best season in 2022 when he caught 44 passes for 472 yards in 13 games, however he only appeared in 5 games for the Ducks this past season.
Oregon's wide receiver rotation was focused on Troy Franklin, Tez Johnson, Traeshon Holden and Gary Bryant Jr. Bryant, along with Johnson took a majority of the team's snaps at slot receiver, which is the primary position Hutson played during his time with the Ducks.
Hutson is one of two former Oregon players that will head to the Palouse to play college ball in 2024, as former Oregon and Louisville linebacker Keith Brown also announced his commitment to Louisville on Friday.
Junior Adams and the Ducks will return Holden, Johnson and Bryant next season as well as underclassmen Jurrion Dickey and Kyler Kasper. The team also signed four young pass catchers in Ryan Pellum, Jeremiah McClellan, Dillon Gresham and Jack Ressler from the 2024 class.
Former Texas A&M wide receiver Evan Stewart may also be in the mix next season, as he's visiting Oregon this weekend.
