A former Tennessee Vols quarterback could end up playing for one of UT's top SEC rivals in 2025.
Earlier this month, former Vols quarterback Harrison Bailey entered the NCAA transfer portal after spending the last two seasons at Louisville.
Bailey, a former four-star recruit, signed with Tennessee during the 2020 recruiting cycle. He left the Vols midway through the 2021 season, eventually transferring to UNLV for the 2022 season.
The Georgia native started in Louisville's win against Washington Huskies in the Sun Bowl on New Year's Eve.
According to On3's Steve Wiltfong , the Florida Gators are hosting Harrison Bailey on Thursday. Wiltfong reported that Bailey will throw for the Florida coaching staff as the Gators look to add some depth to their quarterback room (DJ Lagway is expected to be Florida's starter in 2025).
Bailey has passed for 1,190 yards, 10 touchdowns, and three interceptions during his five-year college career. He also has two rushing touchdowns.
Wiltfong noted that if Bailey's throwing session with the Gators goes well on Thursday, he's expected to take a proper visit to Florida this weekend.
