Slaughter, a former three-star recruit from Mississippi, signed with Tennessee during the 2023 recruiting cycle.
During his two seasons on Rocky Top, Slaughter totaled six tackles, one tackle for loss, and an interception.
Before transferring to Colorado to play for Deion Sanders, Slaughter, who entered the portal during the spring transfer window, took a visit to Purdue.
Slaughter is the second former Vol to transfer to Colorado this offseason. Former Tennessee offensive tackle Larry Johnson, who was battling true freshman David Sanders Jr for the Vols' starting right tackle job, transferred to Colorado in late April.
