Johnson, an ex-Texas transfer, was an All-AAC selection last year. Willis is an ex-Tennessee signee and former 4-star recruit.https://t.co/6Cw7NKmknb pic.twitter.com/8ouPqH0OfP
Willis signed with Tennessee during the 2021 recruiting cycle as four-star recruit. He signed with the Vols in December, 2020 (a month before Jeremy Pruitt was fired as the program's head coach).
The Virginia native saw very little action as a true freshman at Tennessee in 2021, totaling just one tackle before hitting the transfer portal.
Willis totaled just five tackles for Houston over the last two seasons.
