Former Tennessee Vols wide receiver Chas Nimrod will be playing for a familiar face in 2025.

Nimrod, who entered the NCAA transfer portal last month, is transferring to USF according to 247Sports' Matt Zenitz and Chris Hummer.

Former Tennessee offensive coordinator Alex Golesh just wrapped up his second season as the head coach at USF.

Nimrod, an Arkansas native who spent three seasons at Tennessee, was a true freshman in Golesh's final season (2022) as the offensive coordinator at UT.

Nimrod, who was a redshirt sophomore this season, caught 20 passes for 315 yards and one touchdown during his time with the Vols.

The former three-star recruit has two seasons of eligibility remaining.
