LSU quarterback Garrett Nussmeier delivered a heartfelt gesture at SEC Media Days that touched fans across the college football world. In a photo shared by LSU Football’s official X account, Nussmeier was seen wearing a jacket that featured the number 2, the number worn by his late teammate, wide receiver Kyren Lacy.

Lacy tragically passed away in April, leaving the LSU community heartbroken. The team has made it clear that his impact is still deeply felt, as evidenced by Nussmeier honoring Lacy.
