In today's world of NIL and the NCAA transfer portal, recruiting never stops in college football.
That's why it's essential to keep those who have already committed happy, which is what Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs are doing right with top JUCO defensive lineman Seven Cloud.
Cloud, a three-star 2026 Bulldogs commit from Powder Springs, GA, wrapped up a long visit to Athens this weekend and made a social media post about it on Sunday, June 8.
"Thank you Georgia," Cloud wrote in a post with pictures from his visit.

While it's a simple shout-out to the program, it shows that he is still locked in.
Cloud, 6-foot-4, 300 pounds, originally committed to the University of Georgia out of McEachern High School in 2021. However, his journey took a detour through the JUCO route. After spending the past couple of seasons developing at Butler Community College, he’s now back on course and poised to officially join the Bulldogs.
He tallied 5.5 sacks and 48 tackles, including 9.5 tackles for loss with Butler last fall. He also had three pass breakups, two forced fumbles, and one recovery.
Cloud is nationally recognized as the No. 6 junior college prospect and ranks third among JUCO defensive linemen in the 2026 class, according to the On3 Industry Ranking.
Right now, Georgia has 12 commitments in the 2026 class. Cloud is one of two defensive linemen in that group so far, joined by four-star Carter Luckie.
Georgia currently boasts the nation’s No. 6 recruiting class and has 12 players committed to their recruiting class of 2026:
