Brooks, a 6-foot-4, 230-pound EDGE prospect out of Bogart, Georgia, is a four-star recruit in the 2026 class. According to On3, he ranks as the No. 17 edge rusher in the nation and the No. 13 overall player in Georgia.
He put together a dominant junior season at North Oconee High School, racking up 131 total tackles, 24 quarterback hurries, 17 tackles for loss, and 13 sacks. He also recorded three pass breakups, forced two fumbles, and scored two defensive touchdowns. Offensively, Brooks hauled in 31 catches for 569 yards and nine touchdowns.
The Bulldogs are so close to landing Brooks, along with five-star and the nation's overall No. 1 linebacker, Tyler Atkinson, who recently raved about his 15th visit to Athens.
If Georgia manages to secure commitments from both, their 2026 recruiting class will become even more intimidating, especially on the defensive side of the ball.
Georgia currently boasts the nation’s No. 5 recruiting class and has 17 players committed to their recruiting class of 2026:
