Every Power Four conference team needs to always win, and everyone is looking to dive into October on a run.
But for Georgia and Auburn, this really is one of those pivot points for the two programs.
Auburn hasn't been bad. It battled hard in acceptable and predictable losses at Oklahoma and Texas A&M, but now is when the run has to come, with three of its next four games, and five of the last seven, at home.
Georgia kicks off a run of three of the next four games away from Athens. Lose, and the pressure is on with Ole Miss, the Cocktail Party against Florida, at Mississippi State, and Texas up next.

The offensive balance is solid, and it should keep control of the game on the road.
The consistent explosion still isn't quite there, but the attack is adaptable enough to go with the flow of the game.
Auburn has been hit-or-miss against the run, and the pass defense has been a problem against the Power Four conference teams.
Georgia's Gunner Stockton has been good enough. He should hit close to 70% of his throws in this, and he should use the Auburn pass rush to his advantage.
Oklahoma's John Mateer was able to take off when needed in the 24-17 win, the Texas A&M backs rumbled to overcome the Tiger aggressiveness, and ...
The Auburn pass rush really is good.
It got to Marcel Reed on a regular basis in the tough loss to Texas A&M, the tackles for loss have been there. all year, and the Georgia offensive line has been awful in pass protection for too many stretches.
The Tiger offense has only turned it over once all year. It's been a little too careful at times, but that keeps the team in games.
Quarterback Jackson Arnold is showing enough flashes to be on the verge of a massive breakout performance, and he should get the time against a Georgia defense that's not getting behind the line.
The Auburn defense has been good enough. It's holding up well, the third down stops will continue, and it'll keep the game close, but this isn't the game for the ground attack to get going.
In a super-charged atmosphere, the Tigers will come out with a big first quarter thanks to a takeaway, but the Bulldogs will steadily find their way back.
Once again, it won't be anything pretty, but it'll be another win-and-move-on date for the Bulldogs.
