Georgia wide receiver Zachariah Branch had some thoughts on Tennessee's 'Checker Neyland' after Bulldogs' win against the Vols

Georgia Bulldogs WR Zachariah Branch was impressed by "Checker Neyland"

Georgia's game against Tennessee was Bulldogs wide receiver Zachariah Branch's first game in an opposing SEC stadium.

Branch, who spent the first two seasons of his career at USC before transferring to Georgia this past offseason, caught five passes for 69 yards and a touchdown in the win over the Volunteers.

The Las Vegas native spoke to reporters on Monday and he was asked about the experience of playing at Neyland Stadium.

Branch was quick to tell reporters that he was impressed by the atmopshere in Knoxville.

"That was a crazy atmosphere," said Branch. "It was something that I'll never forget. Just getting a chance to go out there in my first road game [in the] SEC was something that was real special -- to go out there with the guys and especially to get the [win] out there. You know, going into somebody else's house and getting it done.

"But it was a crazy atmosphere. To know that they were really going white, orange, white, orange -- it's pretty cool just to see how committed the SEC fans are. Just to go out there with my guys and have fun and get the [win] was a pretty cool experience."

Game days in the SEC are as good as it gets in college football -- especially in Knoxville, which provides one of the top game day atmospheres in the sport. Throwing in "Checker Neyland", which Tennessee typically only does once a year, made it even more unique for the game against Georgia.
