Every year when the Georgia Bulldogs play the Tennessee Vols, the clip of UGA head coach Kirby Smart intercepting UT legend Peyton Manning pops up on social media.
Smart, who was a defensive back for the Bulldogs in the 90's, intercepted Manning in Georgia's loss to Tennessee in 1995.

Smart was asked on Wednesday during the SEC coaches teleconference if intercepting Manning 30 years ago is his favorite memory in the Tennessee vs Georgia rivalry.
Unsurprisingly, Smart quickly said that it's not -- because Georgia lost that game 30-27 to the Volunteers.
"No, we lost that game. That's what I remember," said Smart.
On the weekly SEC Media Call with the head coaches, Coach Smart when asked if his favorite memory of the Tennessee-Georgia rivalry was when he picked off Peyton Manning: 'No, we lost that game. That's what I remember.'

Manning and Smart have maintained a close friendship over the years -- which probably makes the interception sting even more for Peyton.
Peyton, in fact, likes to point out that the interception was tipped, so he thinks it should have a "little asterisk" beside it.
