In his lone season with Minnesota, Brosmer threw for 2,617 yards — the most by a Gophers quarterback since Tanner Morgan in 2019 — and 17 touchdowns with just five interceptions while completing 66.8% of his passes. He finished with a 137.9 passer rating and added five rushing touchdowns.
He finished sixth in the Big Ten in completion percentage, seventh in passing yards and passer rating, and eighth in passing touchdowns. Additionally, only Indiana’s Kurtis Rourke threw fewer interceptions among qualified quarterbacks in the conference than Brosmer.
He’s one of at least five Gophers to earn spots on postseason all-star rosters so far, joining offensive lineman Tyler Cooper, left tackle Aireontae Ersery, and defensive linemen Danny Striggow and Jah Joyner.
The Shrine Bowl is set to take place on Jan. 30 and the Hula Bowl is scheduled for Jan. 11.
First, he and the Gophers will play in the Duke's Mayo Bowl on Jan. 3.
