This past Saturday's matchup between Tennessee and Syracuse was the debut of the new Vol Network game day crew, featuring Keith, Foster, former Vols wide receiver Jayson Swain, and longtime Tennessee writer/reporter Brent Hubbs (of VolQuest.com).

The new booth instantly just felt....right. The energy of the call from a group of guys who know this Tennessee team and program as well as anyone perfectly matched the vibe of Josh Heupel's squad.

Foster's reaction to the Carter sack was a perfect example of those vibes. Foster is a great objective analyst who provides unique insight from his time as a high-level player, but you can also tell that Tennessee football means something to him. That approach, which is impossible to manufacture, pairs well with Keith's high-energy style and the professional reporting of Hubbs and the measured analysis from Swain.

In other words, the new Vol Network booth is everything (and more) that Tennessee fans were hoping it would be when it was announced that Keith would be taking over as the new Voice of the Vols.
