How to watch Indiana at Michigan

Curt Cignetti and Indiana fell for the first time after 22 straight wins, which included last year’s 16-0 national championship season. Meanwhile, Michigan might have a QB controversy brewing as Tommy Carr came in the second half for Bryce Underwood of the Wolverines’ win over the Nittany Lions and led them to victory.

“Going forward we will take a good look at the tape,” head coach Kyle Whittingham said postgame. “Not prepared to make a decision yet.” Whittingham also dove into specifics regarding the change at the high profile position.

“Only had about 70 yards or rise in the first half, and no points, and we just needed to get something to create a spark, as we said,” Whittingham said. “So he responded very well. He wasn’t perfect. There were some things he obviously needs to get better at it, but he had some key runs for us. That option there for that final touchdown after a great run, great job by him … He took care of the football. We had no turnovers in the second half. He did a nice job. He’s always prepared. He, I walk by that quarterback room 12 times, 15 times a day. He’s in there pretty much every second he doesn’t have glass, he’s in there watching film.

“So (Tommy) was very prepared when his (number) was called, and like I said, he responded very well. Going forward, we’ll take a good hard look at the tape and see how things white things bogged down in the first half, why we were better in the second half because there wasn’t a lot of scheme change.”
