Jack Tuttle Granted 7th Year Of Eligibility

On Saturday afternoon, Tuttle himself posted a video with the caption, “So many memories and great people. The journey continues.”

Tuttle only played in six games for Michigan this past season but did show some flashes of being able to quarterback a big time program like Michigan. He completed 15-of-17 pass attempts for 130 yards and a touchdown. The touchdown, ironically, came in a 52–7 win over Indiana, his former team.

While playing for the Hoosiers for four years, Tuttle proved that he could be a starting quarterback in the Big Ten. He threw five touchdowns against six interceptions in 16 games for Indiana, before missing all but one game with a shoulder injury in 2022.

Now, he's the most experienced and accomplished quarterback on Michigan's roster. As of right now, it feels like it could be a battle between Tuttle and Alex Orji for U-M's starting QB spot.
