Oklahoma’s Jalil Farooq spoke to the media this week about the performance of the offense and the mood of the team after this latest loss.

What did you hear from Jackson [Arnold] after the game?

Jalil: He’s a great leader, he's one of those guys who knows how to deal with adversity. So he’s building his brothers up and making sure everybody keeps their head up. We’ve got another game in two weeks after the bye week so that's what his main focus is right now.

Did you expect the offense to be a little bit better today than it was?

Jalil: Things could have gone better… we didn't plan for it to go this way. It could have gone a lot better so that made it so difficult for the offense to take any kind of shots down field. I would say we could have taken a lot more shots but it just didn't happen for us today.

What is the feeling on this team right now in the locker room after that loss and just the way that the season has been unfolding?

Jalil: We’ve got a lot of great leaders on our team so we have a lot of guys that are building up the room continuously. When we lose a draw like that, we have a real brotherhood in our locker room. We have guys who continue to bring guys up, make sure we have our heads up and just focus on getting better. We deal with a lot of adversity so we’ve just got to get better day by day. That’s our main goal every day in the locker room.
