The 2026 NFL Draft is right around the corner, and we've got you covered with in-depth scouting reports for all of this year's top prospects.
Arizona State's Jordyn Tyson is one of the top wide receivers in this year's class, with a well-rounded skill set and big-play ability that allows him to threaten defenses in multiple ways. Even in a loaded group at the position, Tyson should be a first-round lock with a chance to come off the board in the top 15 picks.
Here's everything NFL fans need to know about Tyson heading into this year's draft:
Height: 6-2
Weight: 200
Age: 21
A smooth operator with fluid route-running skills, Tyson is sharp and clean out of his breaks, creating separation by avoiding wasted movement and extra steps. He’s a long strider who can eat up yardage quickly, erasing cushion and putting defenders on their heels quickly. Tyson uses this along with short-area quickness and vision to be a valuable weapon after the catch, turning quick screens into big gains with impressive instincts and the patience to set up blocks. He’s got strong, reliable hands that don’t mind contact at the catch point, and he’s a willing downfield blocker. Tyson tracks the deep ball extremely well down the field, and he can move around the formation to isolate and expose advantageous matchups on the outside or in the slot.
Tyson is a leaner prospect who can struggle to beat stronger, more physical corners in press coverage off the ball. He creates his separation with footwork and short bursts, but Tyson lacks the elite top-end speed to run away from defensive backs over the top. Durability could be a concern, given the fact that he’s suffered significant injuries multiple times that have cost him a decent chunk of action in two different seasons.
With his combination of size, separation ability, and dynamic potential after the catch, Tyson has a skill set that could quickly make him a WR1 at the next level. If he’s able to stay healthy, add a little bulk to his frame, and develop more consistent technique and physicality against press coverage, Tyson has Pro Bowl upside with the ability to put up big numbers in any NFL offense.
