It was an interesting year for the Alabama Crimson Tide and head coach Kalen DeBoer, who was in his first season with the program.
They ended with a 9-4 record, going 5-3 in SEC play and losing to the Michigan Wolverines 19-13 in the ReliaQuest Bowl.
Considering Alabama's dominance in the last two decades, not even making the College Football Playoff makes the season feel like a failure.
However, with the season now over, it's time for DeBoer and the rest of the team to move on and try to improve for next year.
One way that Alabama has done that is with the transfer portal, and their latest addition is running back Dre'lyn Washington, who's been with the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns for the past four seasons.

247Sports had Washington as a three-star prospect out of high school in 2021 and the No. 178 running back in the country.
He's seen a good amount of action in the past three years, accumulating 229 carries, 1,343 yards, and nine touchdowns.
Washington also has some experience receiving the ball, with 14 receptions, 154 yards and two touchdowns.
Washington could be a solid replacement for former Alabama running back Justice Haynes, who recently transferred to Michigan and totaled 448 rushing yards and seven touchdowns in 2024.
This is also just one of several potential offensive difference makers DeBoer has brought in through the portal, including four-star wide receiver Isaiah Horton, three-star offensive lineman Kam Dewberry and three-star offensive tackle Arkel Anugwom.
