Kalen DeBoer Announces Suspension of Veteran Linebacker

Alabama is coming off a massive victory during their road trip to Baton Rouge last weekend, but the celebration comes to a rapid stop with breaking news from Kalen DeBoer on Monday.

DeBoer announced that four year veteran linebacker Keanu Koht, who plays at the 'wolf' position within Kane Wommack's 'Swarm Defense,' has been suspended.

“He wasn’t with us, and he’s suspended right now,” DeBoer said. “I’m not gonna get into length or anything like that, but he won’t be with us this weekend.”

It is unclear of the extent of what the redshirt junior's suspension is for, but this news is not positive for the Tide as they are already down a linebacker for the rest of the season from an injury to Que Robinson.

Koht hasn't produced much this season as he only tallied five total tackles, half a quarterback sack, and one fumble recovery.
